Many people who are unfamiliar with size 16 or 14 snaps confuse the studs and sockets for the same piece because they look so similar. Before you assume you received the wrong pieces, please look very closely. You may refer to the picture below for reference. You can also just snap the 2 pieces together to confirm that they fit.
