"Currently, I have set up a small studio in our 3rd story loft up in the mountains of Bozeman, Montana. I am a wife to a hard working man and stay at home mama to a beautiful 18 month old boy. So much has changed since he was born. In my former life I was a horticulturist and worked long hours especially in the summer months. My husband and I decided that it was important for me to be a stay at home mom, but in this economy I had to do something....

That is where the thought of Mountain Babes became a reality. I always loved to make crochet hats and also sew but didn't always know what to make. Then I became a mom and I wanted items that were beautiful but also very functional. So I thought other moms would need these items too! I love big bold prints and colors and like to shy away from the typical baby pastels. I started small at farmers markets and with an Etsy site but found that people wanted a website."
